Moving can feel like a lot, but it doesn’t have
to be overwhelming. At Lasting Order Organizing, we bring calm, structure, and support to every step, so
your move feels more manageable and a lot less stressful. From preparing your current home to getting
settled in your new one, we’re right there with you each step of the way.
We understand that
timelines and budgets matter when you’re moving. While some clients need full, hands-on support
throughout the process, others prefer to focus on specific parts of the move within a set budget. Our
team can work with you in half-day or full-day sessions to give you the support you need, where you need
it most.
Downsizing
If you’re moving into a smaller space or simply
ready for a fresh start, downsizing is a chance to be more intentional about what you bring with you. We
walk through the process together, helping you sort through your belongings and decide what stays, what
goes, and what makes sense for your next home.
Our organizers are trained to come alongside you
in a supportive, non-judgmental way and help make difficult decisions feel less overwhelming and less
painful as you work through a lifetime of possessions. We move at a steady, comfortable pace, always
keeping your goals and timeline in mind. By the end, you’re left with a more manageable set of
belongings.
Packing
Packing is often the most stressful part of a move, but it
doesn’t have to be! We pack your belongings with care in a way that’s organized, efficient, and easy to
unpack later.
We use the Ultimate Color Moving System, an organizational tool
that assigns a color to each room in your new home. Every box is labeled using that system, logged in a
binder, and ranked in order of priority to open. This not only helps movers place items in the right
space, it makes it simple for you to find what you need right away. It cuts down on confusion, saves
time, and helps everything feel more under control from day one.
Unpacking
Unpacking is where things really start to come
together. Instead of living out of boxes, we help you get settled quickly and thoughtfully.
We
unpack, put everything in its place, and set up systems that make your home easy to maintain from day
one. And while the process is even smoother when we’ve done the packing, it’s not required! We’re happy
to step in and help you make your house a home, no matter how your boxes were packed.
